WHAT IS DOMESTIC SKIP HIRE?
Domestic skips are in the region of 4 – 8 cubic yards, which will fit perfectly on most driveways and are ideal for residential projects, such as garden landscaping, home refurbishing, taking on a DIY project, or simply that your garage is full of junk you just don’t need!
Many homeowners choose to hire skips during house and garden projects, as it’s easy to underestimate the amount of waste these projects can produce. You no longer have to make multiple trips to your local tip and spend hours in queues. Waltet make hiring a skip, affordable and hassle-free to take the load off your hands – leaving you to focus on the important jobs.
If you are looking for larger projects then take a look at our Commercial Skips. If you have the space we are happy to deliver to larger domestic households.
For any further questions or queries, please call our dedicated skips team who will be happy to help you!

What Happens Next
Once you have hired your skip, we will deliver it to you within 24-48 hours. However, If you order your skip by midday, we work hard to provide a next-day delivery service.
When your skip waste is collected, it’s taken to our licenced recycling facilities in Romsey. There it’s screened and waste types are segregated for either recovery or recycling. We have an exceptional record and recycle on average 90% of waste in every skip, sending as little as possible to landfill.
Things You Need to Know
Domestic skips that are located on your driveway/land do not require a permit. But if your skip is going to be on a public highway or council-owned property, you require a permit which we will arrange for you through your local council.
Your skip hire is for 2 weeks, which you will need to call to confirm its collection. If needed you can arrange collection earlier, with our team.
We do not require you to be present for the skip to be delivered if you have already paid. Your booking confirmation and a receipt will be sent via email.
