“What’s happening at your recycling plant”

On your bike!

Waltet is always proud to join forces with our partner organisations to undertake valuable community projects. Recently we joined forces with Balfour Beatty and several other local companies to create a BMX track at Redbridge for local youths on flat ground so the first thing we had to do was supply several lorry loads of our quality recycled top soil to re-profile the site with ramps and jumps. This project has been warmly welcomed by the local youths and is used regularly since it was formally opened.  Waltet joint managing directors Mark Howard and Dan Newbold could not resist getting on two BMX racing bikes and trying their hand at the testing circuit of humps, jumps and tight turns. Our photo shows the pair Mark Howard (on the left) and Dan Newbold at the formal opening just before they set off on several laps of the circuit.
